We would like to extend our congratulations to Vanessa who has recently achieved a Masters qualification in the Theory of Podiatric Surgery, giving her an extended scope of practice and insight into the surgical management of foot and ankle complaints.
During the course she also became competent in the field of injection therapies in the foot and ankle. After a diagnosis confirmed with ultrasound she can administer steroid injections into the 1st toe joint to help relieve symptoms of pain and stiffness. She also offers steroid injection for interdigital neuromas such a Morton’s neuromas, again after confirmed diagnosis. We are now offering this service at 381 Footcare and helping to reduce the NHS waiting list.
